At GPL Software Africa, we aim to ensure customer satisfaction by providing high-quality GPL-licensed digital products. However, due to the nature of digital downloads, we have specific refund policies in place. Please read the terms below carefully.
1. Eligibility for Refunds
1.1. Refunds are only available under the following conditions:
- The product you purchased is defective or corrupt and cannot be downloaded.
- The product does not match the description provided on our website. For example, the description is about Elementor Pro and the file provided for download is another ‘thing’, not Elementor pro!
1.2. Refund requests must be submitted within seven (3) days of purchase.
2. Non-Refundable Cases
2.1. Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
- You changed your mind after purchase.
- You do not have the technical skills to use the product.
- You expected features or functionalities that are not listed in the product description.
- Some functions of the product are hidden behind the activation. Usually, GPL products do not require activation or a license before they can work. License is only helpful if you need automatic updates from the developer or seeking their technical support. However, even if it ever happens and a plugin or theme is coded in a way you can’t use all its features without license activation, it is not our fault!
- You purchased the product by mistake.
- The issue arises from a conflict with third-party plugins or themes.
3. How to Request a Refund
3.1. To request a refund, please contact us at support@gplsoftware.africa with the following details:
- Your order ID.
- The name of the product.
- A detailed description of the issue, including screenshots if applicable.
3.2. We will investigate your claim and respond within three (3) business days.
4. Resolution Process
4.1. If your refund request is approved, we will process the refund to your original payment method.
4.2. If the issue is resolved without a refund (e.g., providing a functional file), no refund will be issued.
